What does Palaba do?
Anything that involves cutting and moving things on the timeline — breaths, retakes, placing pickups, pacing.
What doesn't Palaba do?
Palaba doesn't EQ, filter, compress, or do any kind of de-noising.
How fast does Palaba work?
That depends on project size and Palaba usage, usually 20–30 minutes.
How do I actually use Palaba edited sessions?
Palaba outputs session files like AAF or Reaper RPP files that you just open in your DAW like any other project.
What DAWs does Palaba support?
All major non-destructive DAWs — including Pro Tools, Reaper, Audition, Logic Pro, and Studio One — and anything that can open AAFs, including video editors.
What files does Palaba support?
WAV audio files and PDF script files.
Does Palaba output audio files?
No. Palaba writes session files that reference your original audio files. No loss of quality, completely non-destructive.
Are there subjects Palaba won't touch?
Palaba will not process material that features any form of sex or violence involving children, graphic violence, or pornography. Your mileage may vary on these projects.
Billing
How does billing work?
We bill you at the end of the month per minute of audio processed that month.
Do you have a free trial?
Yes — we offer a default 5 hour free trial to all new sign ups.
Do you have a refund policy?
Yes. We have a generous refund policy in cases where Palaba made repeated, severe mistakes that render the project useless.
Data and Privacy
Does Palaba generate voices or narrate books?
No. Palaba supports human narration. It does not create or synthesize voices.
Can this be used for union audiobook and podcast workflows?
Yes. It's designed for human-led production.
Is my data used to train generative models?
No. Your data is used only to deliver the services you request.
Do you claim any rights to my data?
No. You retain full ownership of all data you provide. We operate Palaba to process it and nothing more.
How long is project data stored?
You're in full control. Once you delete your project, all its data is deleted.
